The T20 World Cup 2021 will be held in India in October-November this year. However, the fate of the World Cup is still hanging in the balance due to Corona. However, Bangladesh to host Australia and New Zealand cricket teams to play a bilateral series before the T20 World Cup 2021.
Australia and New Zealand will play five matches each in the Bangladesh tour ahead of the T20 World Cup. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had earlier said that the two countries would play three T20 matches each. But there have been changes.
Akram Khan, the BCB’s director of cricket and chairman of the cricket management department, said on Tuesday (May 25) that Australia and New Zealand would play five Twenty20 matches each in Bangladesh, not three.
“We had three matches against Australia, we wanted to do five and they agreed,” he said. It will be held in eight to 9 days. Now we are trying to make our preparations as good as possible.
If the T20 World Cup is not held in India due to Corona, he will move to the United Arab Emirates. However, the Bangladesh cricket team will take the best preparation wherever the T20 World Cup is.
Akram Khan said, “The T20 World Cup depends on the situation in India. We have to see what India wants to do. Whether India can do it or not, it is heard that it may happen in Dubai. We are going to take our preparation without thinking about it. ‘
