Huawei P50 and Huawei P50 Pro are Available Europe at the Best Price
Huawei has already made the launch of its Huawei P50 and Huawei P50 Pro phones official in China. Huawei P50 and Huawei P50 Pro are also scheduled to release in Europe soon and we have already been able to find out about price and some of its most relevant characteristics. As it seems, they are designed to stand up to the most advanced high-end mobiles.
Only their innovative and daring design has made these two models a great attraction for lovers of the brand. It breaks the usual aesthetics of the company, with two large, quite striking lenses on the back, which will delight the most sybarite public.
Although until now the real price at which they will be marketed within Asia is unknown, we know that we are facing two devices that are going to give a lot to talk about. If you are interested, do not stop reading. Here we reveal the 5 keys that best define the Huawei P50 and Huawei P50 Pro.
Huawei P50 Design and Display
Although at first glance the design of these two teams seems to be almost identical, the most detailed users may notice the odd difference that comes out. As far as dimensions are concerned, the Huawei P50 Pro turns out to be a bit more voluminous, highlighting measures of 158.8 x 72.8 x 8.5 mm. While the Huawei P50 has smaller dimensions with 156.5 x 73.8 x 7.92 mm.
What is most striking in these models is undoubtedly the rear module of the cameras. And it is that this new module adopts an appearance never before seen in any other known mobile. It has a fairly considerable size divided into two, where the cameras and the flash are distributed.
A notable detail is the disappearance of the minijack port. They only have a USB type C port. Otherwise, both boast a rather delicate and elegant design. They will be available in the colors gold, white and black. For the P50 Pro, you can also choose between pink and blue.
In the case of screens, both devices have an OLED panel with a FullHD + resolution of 2,770 x 1,224 pixels. However, the differences in this section have to do above all with the dimensions of the screen and its refresh rate.
In this way, while the Huawei P50 arrives with a 6.5-inch screen, the Huawei P50 Pro does the same with a 6.6-inch screen. Regarding its refresh rates, the P50 reaches 90 Hz, while the P50 Pro reaches 120 Hz.
Huawei P50 Cameras
The first really important differences are seen in the cameras section. It is the P50 Pro who, unsurprisingly, has the battle won. In the P50 we must highlight its triple camera composed of a 50 MP main lens, a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12 MP periscope-type telephoto lens. The P50 Pro includes a quad-camera with a 50 MP prime lens, a 13 MP ultra-wide lens, a 40 MP monochrome lens, and a 64 MP telephoto lens.
We also see a relevant difference in terms of zoom. The Huawei P50 is slightly superior with its 5x optical zoom compared to the 3.5x of the P50 Pro. However, the latter manages to outperform its brother in digital zoom with 100x against 50x.
If we talk about similarities in this section, both models share identical 13 MP resolution front cameras.
In terms of performance, they both house a powerful eight-core Snapdragon 888 processor inside. However, the Huawei P50 Pro is available in a version equipped with a Kirin 9000.
Also, the two devices have a capacity of 8 GB of RAM. However, it is known that the Huawei P50 Pro will have a 12 GB version. The devices will come in versions of 128 and 256 GB of internal storage. In the case of the P50 Pro, there will be a 512GB version.
A remarkable detail is that for this occasion the company has put 5G technology aside. Therefore, the Huawei P50 and Huawei P50 Pro only have 4G connectivity. Still, they are not far behind, as Wi-Fi 6 compatibility is assured in both cases. And, trying to take its entire generation of mobiles to a new stage, the two terminals are ready to receive the Harmony OS 2.0 update.
Huawei has been in charge of equipping the Huawei P50 and Huawei P50 Pro with large capacity batteries that make their autonomy more than competent. The P50 includes a battery of about 4,100 mAh, while the P50 Pro lands with a 4,360 mAh battery, which ensures hours and hours of autonomy.
As for its fast-charging systems, the P50 is known to consist of a capacity of up to 50W, while the P50 Pro consists of 66W. Both devices are also compatible with wireless charging systems.
