ICC Announced Match Officials for ICC T20 World Cup 2021

ICC announced the 20-Member Umpires List for the T20 World Cup 2021. The List of Match Officials includes 16 Umpires and 4 Match Referees. The Three Umpires – Aleem Dar, Marais Erasmus, and Rod Tuck to feature in their sixth T20 World Cup Tournament.

Kumar Dharmasena, the umpire from the ICC Cricket World Cup 2021 Final is also included in the match officials announced by ICC. He will referee the first match of the tournament against Papua New Guinea and Oman. Apart from that, Rajan Madugalle replaces Richard Kettleborough as Umpire for the opening match and Ahsan Raza will be the fourth match official for the opening match of the mega event.

Whereas, Aleem Dar, Marais Erasmus, Australia’s David Boon, the match referee, and Chris Brown, the television (third) umpire, will officiate the England and West Indies Group A match.
