Three Sri Lankan cricketers have been punished for breaking a bio-bubble during Sri Lanka’s tour of England this year. They are Kushal Mendis, Danushka Gunathilaka, and Niroshan Dickwella. Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has repatriated Kushal Mendis, Danushka Gunathilaka, and Niroshan Dickwella for breaking the bio-bubble during the England tour. After being brought back to the country, they were banned for a year after investigating the incident. Since then, they have been planning to migrate to the United States.

Lankan media claim they are going to the United States on a three-year contract. There you will get an annual salary of 1 lakh 25 thousand dollars. Earlier, Shihan Jayasuriya from Sri Lanka had migrated to the United States to play for the Americans.

The United States got ODI status in 2019. Since then, they have risen and fallen to play in the 2023 World Cup. To implement that plan, US cricket officials are trying to recruit young cricketers who are playing at the top level in different countries.

Once they move to the United States, they will not be able to play for the national team. Some of the rules set by the US government must be obeyed. First, you have to give up the citizenship of your own country. He will also have to play in the US domestic league for three years. Then they will qualify for the United States national team.
