DD Sports telecast live coverage of T20 World Cup 2021 Live Streaming in India and its subcontinent; all matches will be broadcast live on Disney+ Hotstar SonyLiv (Website, App). The Seventh Edition of ICC Men’s Twenty20 World Cup was scheduled to begin in 2020 hosted by Australia which was postponed due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Later on, it was re-scheduled to 2022 while the 2021 edition was hosted by India and supposed to play in Oct – Nov. But, unfortunately, due to the third wave of Coronavirus, the tournament was shifted from India to UAE and Oman.

Now, ICC Men’s Twenty20 World Cup 2021 will be hosted by the United Arab Emirates and Oman starting from 17th Oct – 14th Nov 2021. Concerning the participant teams, a total of 16 teams will be part of ICC T20 World Cup 2021 which are further categorized into two groups featuring eight teams each: Group A and Group B. Eight Teams; Australia, England, Pakistan, India, New Zealand, South Africa, Afghanistan, and West Indies directly qualified for the Super 12s whereas, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have to complete the First Round of the tournament to be in the Super 12s. In Group Stages, there are Six teams; Ireland, Oman, Netherlands, Scotland, Namibia, and Papua New Guinea (PNG) which will play the first round of the Twenty20 World Cup 2021.

Regarding the Venues, ICC announced the four different cities Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Muscat for the ICC Men’s Twenty20 World Cup Seventh Edition featuring 45-matches including (Knock-out, Semi-final, and Final) to be played in the United Arab Emirates and Oman.

Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, and Oman Cricket Academy Ground are the four different venues where ICC T20 World Cup 2021 matches will be played.

International Cricket Council (ICC) declared that the matches will be played under strict Bio-secure bubble and SOP’s rules to overcome the coronavirus outbreak. Although, ICC allowed 30% of the crowd is allowed to enjoy T20 World Cup 2021 matches in the stadium, but following strict SOPs.

Fox Sports, the Australian Sports Network acquired official broadcaster media rights for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021; viewers can watch T20 World Cup 2021 live telecast on Fox Sports Cricket in Australia. Moreover, Kayo Sports, Channel Nine (9Now), and Foxtel also broadcast matches live in Australia.

Sky Sports Cricket to live stream ICC T20 World Cup 2021 all 45-matches including First Round, Super 12s, Knock-out, and ICC T20 WC 2021 in the United Kingdom. Sling TV, the OTT platform exclusively live-stream all matches of the tournament in the UK.

ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Format

The tournament is divided into three stages; First Round, Super 12s, and Knock-out stage. Concerning the First Round, Top 2 Teams from Each Group (A and B) will qualify for the Super 12s. In the Super 12s stage, a total of six teams from each group (A and B) will compete with each other. The tournament’s final stage is the Knockout Stage, which features 2 Semifinal, 1 Third Position Match, and the ICC Men’s Twenty20 World Cup 2021 Final.
